Empowering Yourself: Overcoming Self-Doubt and the Inner Critic — What Is Your Inner Critic Really Needing?
We all hear that voice sometimes — the one that whispers (or shouts) that we're not enough, that we can't do it, or that we're somehow falling behind. It’s the voice of the inner critic, and it often shows up just when we’re about to grow, take a leap, or step more fully into our power.
But what if instead of silencing that voice, we listened to it in a new way?
On Wednesday May 28, I invite you to join me for a powerful event:
“Empowering Yourself: Overcoming Self-Doubt and the Inner Critic.”
This session is all about identifying and transforming those inner narratives that keep us stuck, and learning to understand what our inner critic might really be needing from us.
Why Does the Inner Critic Exist?
Contrary to popular belief, the inner critic isn’t here to destroy us — it’s often trying to protect us.
Rooted in past experiences, the inner critic can be a leftover voice from childhood, a reaction to societal expectations, or a fear-based strategy to avoid shame, rejection, or failure. When left unchecked, it becomes a dominant script that limits our self-belief and blocks us from the very things we desire: joy, confidence, connection, and purpose.
What Is Your Inner Critic Really Needing?
At the heart of every critical voice is a part of you that is craving:
Safety – It’s afraid of risk or failure, and tries to keep you in familiar territory.
Validation – It wants to be seen, loved, or acknowledged, even if it doesn’t know how to ask gently.
Healing – It carries wounds from the past and often speaks the language of old pain.
Reconnection – It’s seeking integration, not exile.
When we approach the inner critic with curiosity rather than shame, we create space for profound healing and empowerment.

You Are Not Broken — You Are Becoming
Empowerment doesn’t come from pushing parts of ourselves away. It comes from welcoming them, understanding them, and then choosing differently. You are not your inner critic — but you can learn to lead it, guide it, and heal with it.
Let’s shift the story together.
