Over the course of 10 weeks, immerse yourself in the foundational practices of yoga with Brooke, specialising in yoga alignment and breathwork. Whether you’re looking to enhance your physical well-being, cultivate mindfulness, or simply find a new way to relax and rejuvenate, this course is the perfect starting point.

Course Highlights

  • Brooke brings years of experience in teaching yoga with a special focus on proper alignment and breathwork. Her gentle, approachable style makes learning yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Each week, you’ll build on your knowledge and skills, starting with the basics and progressing towards a solid understanding of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindful movement.

  • Proper alignment is key to practicing yoga safely and effectively. Brooke’s expertise ensures that you’ll learn how to perform each pose correctly, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing the benefits of your practice.

Once your familiar with the basics of yoga there is a wonderful community of Yogis out there that you'll feel comfortable exploring other aspects of the practice.

  • Each week focuses on a specific theme, from building strength and flexibility to enhancing relaxation and mindfulness. This structured approach helps you gain a comprehensive understanding of yoga.

Course Structure

Week 1-2: Fundamentals

Understanding the fundamentals of yoga.

Learning basic standing and seated poses.

Week 3-4: Building Strength and Stability

Focus on strengthening core muscles.

Introducing balancing postures.

Week 5-6: Flexibility and Mobility

Deepening stretches for greater flexibility.

Gentle flows to improve mobility.

Week 7-8: Breathwork and Mindfulness

Pranayama techniques to enhance breath control.

Incorporating mindfulness into your practice.

Week 9-10: Integrative Practice

Combining all elements learned

Creating a balanced and sustainable home practice

Delivery

You have the option to complete the course online via a weekly consultation or in-person at the weekly group class held at FigTree Retreat.
